About WANT Medical Services

We were started in 2000 as W & N Training Ltd  and we originally provided quality First Aid training to a few large UK companies and the local businesses of Brighton and Hove

We were, and still are a family run company who pride ourselves on our open pricing policy and our good reputation for providing a quality product at a price that is right. Being a small family company means we have not lost the personal touch that some large organisations cannot offer. To us you are always a person not just a number

Due to our reputation growing, and local demand. We started to offer Medical Cover for events and ambulance transport services to the local NHS and Private hospitals. The business has grown and we have now moved into our new offices and training rooms, centrally located in Portslade, Sussex.

We know how hard it is to organise an event, so much to think about and so many contractors to commission and keep tabs on.
 
With our many years in the industry we can help guide you through the process and have a range of experts who we can recommend to help with the more formal requirements.
We have covered events from a local fun day to a multi thousand concert/music festival. Motor sports to extreme sports. On road and off road. Whatever your event we will be able to help.

Training is still a major part of our business and we are registered and approved by the HSE to provide the full First Aid at Work portfolio, the new 1 day  EFAW and the new 3 day FAW certificate. We also offer additional courses that can be taken separately or 'bolted on' to the HSE courses to adapt them to your needs.

All of our trainers also work for the events side of the company, so you can be sure that they teach from real life experience not just a PowerPoint slide! We teach saving lives in the real world not in the book!

This new website sees a move onto another venture, again due to demand. We are now happy to offer supplies and consumables for First aid and AED's, with the option to pay for it all online!

We will provide training to HSE standards giving confidence in the trainee to use their skills effectively and confidently.

Our staff are trained, motivated, professional, uniformed and provided with identification, with photograph and details of their qualification.
