Your Route to professional recognition

Using the AREMT system students are able to follow a logical pathway that builds on previous courses and life skills to provide a well rounded professional EMT.

It is expected that any student will travel from EMTR to EMT-A over a period of 3 years. Previous experience and other qualifications may be taken as exemption from lower grades if appropriate and in date.

Once you have successful completed your course you will be able to apply to the ARMT to register as a professional EMT at your grade. To keep your registration you must demonstrate relevant CPD on a yearly basis.
