WANT Medical Services provide First Aid Training to all levels required by law and also some specialised courses.

We can also offer courses in-house for a maximum of 12 students per session. Our trainers wear company uniform and carry photo ID for complete peace of mind and security.

Appointed Persons First Aid

The minimum suggested level of training for all companies. (4 hours)

Appointed Persons First Aid with Pediatrics

A  longer course including the treatment of children and babies. (5 hours)

First Aid at Work

A 4 day course that provides a qualified First Aider for the workplace.

First aid at Work Refresher

A 2 day course to re-qualify those in possession of a valid First Aid at Work certificate.

Oxygen Therapy

Trains staff in the safe handling and use of this medical gas.

Automated External Defibrillation

A 2 or 4 hour course in the use and application of these life saving machines.

Manual Handling

A 3 hour course in the safe handling of loads and general lifting techniques.

Patient Handling

A 4 hour course including the moving and handling of people in the care setting.
